Synopsis

The second in the "From Thief To King" series, following "A Sorcerer's Apprentice", continues the story of young Brenn, royal-born but orphaned, from picking locks in the Thieves Guild to accidental, but destined apprenticeship under the wizard Terrence. At the end of book one, Terrence and Brenn were leaving Maraven to distance themselves from the evil King Dragmond and his more evil and much more powerful queen, the sorceress Ravenna.
