Synopsis

While constructing a new dollhouse, Emily Buchanan encounters a host of baffling questions. Who was Edward Jeffries, and how did a miniature version of his private papers, Observations of the Fairy Kingdom, get into the dollhouse bookcase? And what led to the other mysterious changes in the dollhouse? These matters send Emily and Margot, secretary of the Miniatures Society, on a Scottish road trip using clues from Jeffries' notes to explore the possibility of fairies.
