Synopsis

Creation and destruction in equal measure. Darkness balanced on a finely honed blade. Those who live in Fairie may disagree on many fronts, but there is one thing upon which they will never waver- when the realm requires balance, it will take it. Desperate to find an answer to the bargain between her brother and her best friend, Lane embarks on a journey unlike any other. If she isn't careful, her determination to save them may cost her more than she is willing to pay. While River and Fen hunt down clues that might tell them where the Stone is headed, they must first navigate new faces and old friends. When ghosts of the past rear their heads and change everything, River realizes just how entwined her worlds have become. As pressure mounts and the Fairie breeze shifts to the north, they are all left with one lingering question- What happens when the people you are fighting are the very people you are trying to save?
