Synopsis

In the ancient African lands of Sundira, five elemental kingdoms stand bound by blood, beasts, and prophecy. From comets fell the Spirit Mothers, gifting mortals with power-fire to Vanakari, frost to kharathia, tide to ravolyn, root to Xyndria, and air to Zangoria. But every gift bears a price. When Princess Surika of Kharathia is forced to wed Prince Dravric of Vanakari, her union ignites a rivalry between ice and flame that threatens to unravel centuries of fragile peace. Across the borders, her brother Prince Aerith of Kharathia wrestles with duty, order, and the shadow of their dying father. His choices will test the loyalty to bloodlines-and the limits of beasts itself. Amid that turmoil, Prime Vorik Aezkarion rises from the ashes of duty-a warrior torn between loyalty to his crown and the duties required of the Ash Mother Spirit. As ancient Spirit Mothers stir and beasts remember their bloodlines, the first Tourney of Beasts and Bloodlines begins-where the sins of African Kings, the bond to beasts, and the pride of heirs will decide which bloodline survives the prophecy to come.
