Synopsis

"The only spaces in this world that matter are the ones we occupy together." With broken spirits and a million miles of sand, Jemma and Jo navigate the merciless conditions of the Arid. After slipping through the claws of an anomalous cloaked nightmare, the girls fall into the hands of Megara's King Amos. Thrust into the underground military quarters, Moria, they find themselves forced to face an unfamiliar enemy. Unfortunately, Jemma fights for more than victory against the cloaked Howlers of Groth. Backed into a corner, she fends off an army of hidden agendas, foreign indulgences, budding relationships, and the constant shift in who she feels she can trust.
