Synopsis

As family bonds weaken in the wake of their mother's disappearance, Jeremy and Ruby Cohen are realizing the privileged lives they lead are part of an intricate façade their father preserves on behalf of his mysterious, powerful employer. They join a cabal of eclectic allies to quest through a post-theocratic universe for answers about a shared ancestry and magical abilities while grappling with reality's illusions, profound loss, and self-discovery. Throughout the last millennium, technological advancements pushed practical magic into obscurity, leaving modern witches without the skills to protect themselves when supernatural threats reemerge. Extraterrestrial forces aid them to defeat an ancient enemy and embrace fellowship.
