Synopsis
Waking up alone in the burned-out remains of her quiet countryside village, seven-year-old Eleonor now finds herself orphaned and consumed by a terrible hunger she can't satisfy.As she wanders alone deep in the woods, she meets a cold and calculating leader of a local coven of vampires rallying his troops against both rogue vampires and the human huntsmen who threaten their existence.Taking pity on the girl and decides to bring her back to the coven. With a vague memory of the events in her very recent past, and with nowhere else to turn, she goes freely.As she grows older into a formidable warrior of the Coven Guard, she realizes that her adoptive family may not be all they seem. Unsure who amongst her new friends and family can be trusted, Eleonor's search for the truth is further complicated when she begins to fall for a fellow coven member. As her past comes to light, she finds that he has a secret of his own.
