Synopsis

Sofia befriends a screech owl with a broken wing while volunteering at a local bird sanctuary. Inspired by Sam's book about artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci, she concocts a plan to design an artificial wing to help the injured bird heal. A quick hop on their globetrotting scooter, and-Whiz . . . Zoom . . . FOOP! Sofia and Sam are transported to Italy! Will visiting Vinci, Leonardo's hometown, provide the motivation Sofia needs to complete her design? There's only one way to find out. First stop: the museum!
