Synopsis

A combat space ship attacks an old enemies position in deep space and finds itself in what possibly is another universe that with the exception of a nearby planet, they'll be unable to explore. Their ship is badly damaged and unable to land or go elsewhere. Using their landing crafts, they abandon their ship and land on the planet. There, they find that that they have changed, primarily in hair color, but that change is also accompanied by strange powers, powers that they really need if they are to survive - because the human natives of the planet are descended from their enemies. An outstanding tale and well worth your reading. gmb 8/6/2020
