Synopsis

With wars in the Southern Kingdoms ending, the mercenary Gwyn the Savage begins the perilous journey back to her homeland in the distant north. More battle may await her there, as a months-old letter from family warns of treason and the drums of civil war. But tragedy strikes immediately on the road, forcing Gwyn to split her focus while mystic forces dog her every step. Accompanied by an elven wizard she only grudgingly tolerates, Gwyn must learn to rely on allies as never before if she is to survive the long road ahead and reunite her nation. The path to victory walks the razor's edge between the avenger Gwyn was born and the hero she has become, but what fate awaits if she falls to either side?
