Synopsis

How far will she go to earn her place in the Great Beyond? When the necromancer Mara finds herself in purgatory, she only has two options: wait for her master to drag her back as an undead slave or find a way to pass on to whatever waits beyond. But her afterlife won't come easy, not when her god's condition is that she must disturb the eternal rest of deities long buried. For Mara, who's spent the past ten years training to be a remorseless practitioner of the dark arts, reviving dead gods doesn't sound dubious at all, but she'll need help to accomplish the task.
