Synopsis

"What happens when too much godly power is forced into one body?" Amidst the aftermath of the Battle of Caelestis, Maeve Willawood awakens in foreign territory, surrounded by unfamiliar faces, and holding power that no mortal should contain. The one she swore could be trusted has betrayed her, and everything she thought she knew regarding the past year has been unravelled. Plans persistently fall through and lives are endangered when a former threat is rediscovered. The stakes rise with each passing moment and Maeve struggles to find a balance that protects the lives of her loved ones along with her own.
