Synopsis

She loves him. He loathes her, and rightfully so. Not even time heals wounds this jagged and misaligned. Eighteen-year-old Joey Partridge lost everything when she lost drummer-boy Slade Alder. He was her best friend, teenage obsession, and ground-beneath-her-feet. Or at least he was right up to the moment she completely screwed him over and his evil stepdad kicked him out of his family. Apologies didn't help. Begging made things worse. Joey can't even complain. She deserves every bit of Slade's ire and knows it. She still wants him back.
