Synopsis

Luli, Jeanne, and Rafa are an inseparable trio of friends who live in Numeralia, the biggest city in the Kingdom of Pi. Their lives suddenly change when a seemingly ordinary eclipse becomes a series of adventures filled with mystery, riddles, enchanted creatures, magical places, and learning. In the second book of The Pi Trio series, months have passed since their summer journey to bring back the Sun at the Enchanted Forest. It's now winter in Pi. Luli, Rafa, and Jeanne plan to spend their Sunday at the Library of the Phoenix Ashes, but a series of puzzling events and an unexpected invitation from Queen Marie to join King Euclides at the Relics of Time quickly change their plans. Guided by the King's Hand, they embark on a new adventure. The kids soon realize something is wrong as their adventure turns into a dangerous mission to cross the Gradient Valley and reach the Relics without becoming trapped in time. Can they do it? What is wrong with the Relics of Time? What really happened to the King? Who is behind all of this? What does the number 9 have to do with it? To find out, The Pi Trio must journey through the Gradient Valley and into Chronos Mountain, solving challenging riddles, and confronting unexpected losses. Thankfully, they can also rely on the help of extraordinary magical creatures along the way. "The Pi Trio" is a series for parents and early readers who want to boost interest in reading and combine the thrill of fast-paced, whimsical plots with a touch of curiosity and fun facts about math and science.
