Synopsis
He is Suko, the Blade of the Goddess of Final Silence, an instrument of death whose life is a void of disciplined emptiness. His missions are clean, his heart is cold, and his devotion to his merciless deity is absolute. She is Ceara, a baker whose life is a symphony of warmth, kindness, and the simple joy of a perfectly baked loaf of bread. She collects strays, mends what is broken, and shines a light so bright it draws the attention of the darkest shadows. When a mission forces Suko into a silent vigil in Ceara's vibrant market square, her every act of artless compassion becomes a fissure in his brutal conditioning. What begins as an unwelcome distraction becomes an obsession, pulling him from the shadows with a force more powerful than any divine command . But the Temple does not tolerate flawed instruments, and love, to his goddess, is the ultimate corruption. When the darkness of his world threatens to consume her, Suko must choose: the goddess he is sworn to, or the woman who has broken his silence forever.
