Synopsis
It's been a while since Ammon Netari had to kill a werewolf. The fearsome reputation of his organization makes it almost unnecessary. But on his first day as the Canum's new director, that might have to change. The Canum's authority is called into question when a member of the wealthy Caeson clan and a shadow-worker of the Remnant clan are found dead within the British Museum. Fabled relics, known as the Tears of Anubis, have been stolen. And dead lycans from rival clans have the Canum's insignia burned into their foreheads. With his newly knighted team of werewolf hunters, Ammon will need to make sense of the murders, find the stolen relics, and figure out why his organization appears complicit in both. All sides want answers. All sides might get war. And if the feuding werewolf clans decide they're stronger together than apart, they just might set their sights on the Canum itself.
