Synopsis

When you're surrounded by giants you spend every moment of your life dodging feet. Ysili Ronar was born in in a castle, the son of an ambassador and direct descendant of one of the first wizards. Or was he? He was born with unnaturally blue hair and blue eyes that marked him as non-human, so when his parents finally had the true child they wanted Ysili was rejected, abandoned... ...and given a higher purpose. To find, and befriend, the lost wizard of Verwyn. This companion story to Elemental doesn't just tell the story from Ysili's point of view. It shows in vivid detail all the things that Agrad never knew about the boy he thought was his closest friend and reveals secrets behind the scenes that no wizard thought would be shared. Still Waters is a novella bundled with a few short stories and random scenes set in the world of Kayan. From the first time Nalia was called "mother" to the heartbreaking words Krecek could never bring himself to say, questions are answered and details are finally revealed.
