Synopsis

The Strangers with Us is a clean, dark fantasy series set in a universe where politics, religion, and deception are synonymous. The first installment of the series, "A Slow Dance from Afar," revolves around 17-year-old Maxwell Hartwrong and 18-year-old Sarah Dwindleman. They were once inseparable childhood companions but now are in two different parts of the United States, battling the same struggles in life-a long-distance relationship and an identity crisis- all while attempting to coexist in the mysterious world of the "Christian" church. Amid unusual human drama, Max and Sarah get caught in between the crosshairs of a war they didn't sign up for and the burning zeal of mysterious religious groups. After past traumas in both of their lives, their priority isn't to fight; it's to search for love. However, will their search ultimately lead them to happiness ¿ or destruction?
