Synopsis

Sarah Kline thought she was just beginning to comprehend the new world. Vampires and werewolves, a life spent scavenging during the day and hiding at night. But that's when she, and the four others in her scavenging party found something that would turn their very existence on its head. An infant. A vampire infant. Shortly after they bring the child back to their camp, its parents arrive, and they haven't come alone. Now, they not only have to contend with the horrors of the night, but they must come to terms with the fact that vampires may just in fact be able to breed, and that they are far more intelligent than we thought. Sarah and the others realize they must not only survive the coming full moon only days away, but the growing presence of the vampires seeking to regain their child. This all culminates in a stomach turning showdown that will leave you begging the somber question. Are some things better left alone? Surviving the Dark is a bleak, somber imagining of a world where vampires and werewolves are real, and survival hinges on every decision. What will you do to keep yourself and those around you alive, and how far would you be willing to go to do so? This story takes this group of survivors and tests those very boundaries, stalking and hunting them until its final moments.
