There's no sadder job than telling a mother that her son is dead, but that's exactly the task Helena has been given. Her investigation into the body she and her companions found in Australia brought her to France and a grieving mother. Daisuke and the beautiful half-demon Jinx, meanwhile, are working a different angle, as they track down the offices of Explorer's Inc. A chance encounter with a demon puts them on the trail of an old enemy of Daisuke's. An enemy seeking to become as near to a god as a man can get. The race is on to stop a deadly foe from gaining the power of an elder demon. If Daisuke and his friend don't win the race, it will mean Hell on Earth.
