He was the Reincarnation of Evil; he was the Devil Vicar—and he was the man Anne Wicklow loved! The infamous Devil Vicar was dead. He had died twenty years ago in a devastating fire. There was no question about it. But when Anne Wicklow arrives in the village high on the bog-ridden moors, she learns that there is evidence—horrible, tangible evidence— that the Devil Vicar has returned. Who else could be stalking the isolated town, wantonly murdering everyone involved in that earlier fire? Anne begins to probe into the past to save the villagers from further murder.
