Synopsis

Discovering a mysterious tree in Prospect Park, Nick and Marjorie subsequently find an odd spoon and are followed by a spooky talking bird, events that cause them to suspect a witch is casting eerie spells. When Nick and Marjorie find a large wooden spoon in the park, they find themselves in an adventure involving a talking starling, a witch, a hollow tree, and a book of magic spells.
