The Wyrmseer's eyes saw all. All except what Time chose to hide. A year has passed since Edward became the Dragon Hearted, but the magic of Norland isn't finished with him. As his sixteenth birthday approaches, ancient forces stir. The dragon heart within him pounds warnings he cannot interpret. The brass key at his throat grows warm with a purpose he cannot fathom. And in her mountain sanctuary, the Wyrmseer discovers a terrible truth. Her prophecy, the one that named Edward as the protector of Norland, was incomplete.
