Synopsis
In the shadow of Watcher’s Hill, Gabriel Cullen dreams of a simple life with Magda Talheart. But when a vicious troll ambush tears them apart, leaving Cullen battered and Magda in the clutches of monstrous captors, their idyllic world shatters. Driven by guilt, Cullen joins Magda’s fierce father, Amon, on a perilous trek across the grasslands to hunt the savage beasts. As the trolls’ sinister ritual looms—one that demands Magda’s blood to unleash a conquest of unimaginable horror—Cullen must summon every ounce of courage and a unique gift to track the trolls. With Amon’s blade and Cullen’s unyielding heart, they face a brutal enemy that feasts on flesh and fear. Time is running out, and the Dead Plains beckon with a grim promise. Will Cullen’s resolve and Amon’s wrath be enough to save Magda, or will the trolls’ dark prophecy claim them all? In a land where hope battles despair, one truth remains: there are things worth fighting for, even against the vilest of foes.
