Synopsis
In the windswept cliffs of Cornwall, where ancient magic bleeds into reality and the sea conceals secrets darker than its depths, Paris discovers she's far more than the bayou girl who once hunted monsters in Louisiana. She is the Druid-a force of nature reincarnated through centuries, bound by fate to confront the Viking, an immortal warrior whose obsession has spanned lifetimes. When Paris follows a ghostship across the Atlantic to Cornwall's treacherous shores, she enters a world where mermaids guard deadly secrets, soul-devouring creatures hunt beneath full moons, and the boundary between life and death dissolves in a mystical space called the dight. Her beloved Tristan has been captured, his soul imprisoned in a glowing cage by the Viking's shapeshifting accomplice, Bertha-a seductress who transforms from woman to monstrous fish at will. But the Viking's pursuit isn't merely about possession or revenge. Centuries ago, in a night of passion poisoned by dark magic and hidden agendas, the Druid and the Viking created a bloodline cursed by greed-a genetic legacy that has spawned generations of tormented descendants plagued by madness and supernatural transformations. Now, as the full moon rises over Sennen Cove, the Viking returns to claim what he believes is rightfully his: the woman who represents both his greatest desire and his inevitable destruction. With an unlikely army of ghost children, a pirate radio DJ tracking evil across airwaves, a mysterious beekeeper whose gardens hold supernatural secrets, and Gerard-her loyal shapeshifting companion-Paris must fully embrace her identity as the Druid and harness powers she barely comprehends. The battle that unfolds will determine not just her fate, but the future of humanity itself, as ancient forces converge in a supernatural war where fairy blood, soul magic, and the sins of the past collide in a final, devastating reckoning. The Viking and the Druid is a haunting tale of transformation, destiny, and the price of immortality-where love and hate are two sides of the same cursed coin, and redemption can only come through facing the monsters we've created, both within ourselves and across the centuries.
