Synopsis

She conquered the suburbs. Now she has to survive the School Board. June Reeves has done the impossible. She's turned a ruined elementary school into a Fortress, kept forty-two magical children alive, and even managed to find a steady supply of coffee. The "Safe Zone" is thriving. Enter Brad. A Level 18 [Warlord] with a jawline sharp enough to cut glass and a suit of dented grey plate armor that screams "I'm the Main Character," Brad has arrived to organize the apocalypse. He calls his faction "The Vanguard." June calls it a headache. Brad doesn't see children; he sees infantry. He doesn't see a Nanny; he sees a wildly inefficient NPC who refuses to get with the program. When he tries to "conscript" June's kids for a raid, he crosses a line that not even the System dares to touch. Now, it's Nanny vs. Tank. Chaos vs. Order. A weaponized minivan vs. a literal army. Brad thinks he's fighting a war. He doesn't realize he's just entered a hostile Parent-Teacher Conference. And June has brought specific notes. The Nanny is back, and this time, she's not asking nicely.
