Synopsis

Future Lady Grays should probably avoid interrogations at gunpoint. Amy Davenport is getting better at vampire politics. She can smile through old-family insults, host a winter party without starting a scandal, and almost pretend the crown waiting for her does not make her want to hide in the nearest closet. Then Cassius Winthrop ruins everything by returning. Banished for blood magic and general menace, Cassius claims he knows secrets the High Council refuses to share. Amy should ignore him. Obviously. Except a friend vanishes from a Boston gala, a bloody symbol points straight to Cassius, and suddenly his “I can explain” sounds less annoying than no answers at all. Now Amy has to follow a beautiful liar into the dark, rescue one of her own, and prove she can be Lady Gray before the title officially becomes hers. Growing fangs was easier. Grab Blooded Bonds and join Amy for the most inconvenient crisis of her undead life.
